The seventh series of top celebrity quiz, SMARTEST PERSON IN THE WORLD from The New Flemish Primitives collection,launched on 14 December on NPO2 in the Netherlands and rated as the #1 programme on the channel. Over 1.2 million viewers tuned in to see the first groups of celebrity contestants enter the battle for the Smartest Person in the World title.

And in Belgium, nearly 1.13 million viewers tuned into the second night of the final week of this year’s SMARTEST PERSON IN THE WORLD, a new record for this very successful 13th season (with 51.5% audience share). With up to four times the audience of its closest rival (both public and commercial), this season has so far averaged at a massive 41 % share and almost 890 000 viewers on VIER (SBS Belgium) in full prime time.
